Britney Spears sells her Beverly Hills home againAccording to public records, Spears bought the Mediterranean-style estate in January 2007, while still married to Kevin Federline, for $6.75 million. The popstar had triedunsuccessfully to sell the estate three times already. The first time was in September 2008, when her home was listed for $7.9 million, then a year later in July 2009 for $6.4 million and again in 2010 for $4.8 million. This year Spears is asking for only $2.9 million.

The estate was built in 2001;it has 5 bedrooms, 6 bathrooms and maids quarters on just over a third of an acre. The total area is little more than 7,000 square feet.There is a top-notch security system installed and a 24-hour guard at the entrance gate.

The kitchen is fully equipped with appliances and has a walk-in pantry. The large breakfast area is adjacent to the family room.

In the master suite there are his-and-hers bathrooms, fireplace and French doors leading onto a terrace overlooking the pool.

Outside, there's a covered porch near the pool and spa, as well as a three-car garage. Beyond the well-maintained lawn is an impressive mountain view.

The home in the Summit community of Beverly Hills is listed as a trust sale, under the name of the Britney’s father, James Spears, and the Love Shack Trust, which the singer has used in the past to purchase properties.
